How to add a Halloween widget to OBS

  1. Install the widget in StreamElements. Use the one-click link or paste the code files, as the listing's guide shows.
  2. Save, then copy the overlay link from the top right of the overlay editor.
  3. In OBS, add a Browser Source, paste the link and set the size to 1920 x 1080.
  4. For the pumpkin decoration, add a Media Source instead and pick the WebM file you want.

What you should see: the widget in your OBS scene, on a transparent background.

If it does not show up:

  • Black screen: turn off your VPN or ad blocker, then refresh the browser source.
  • Blurry widget: set your OBS canvas resolution to 1920x1080 and give the browser source the same size.
  • A platform missing from a multistream chat: connect it as the listing's guide shows.
