What is inside

The kit holds two kinds of widget. Chat widgets show your live chat on screen. Goal bars fill as your stream works toward a target.

The 8 widgets in the Spooky Stream Kit: three chat widgets and five goal bars, each named

3 chat widgets

  • Spooky Neon Chat Widget: transparent animated chat with glowing neon.
  • Skull Ghost Chat Widget: a customizable skull and ghost chat box.
  • Spooky Multistream Chat Widget: Twitch, YouTube, Kick and TikTok in one chat box, with per-platform role colours, five alert types and a 3D tilt mode. It is only in this kit.

5 goal bars

  • Spooky Jar Goal Widget: an animated sub tracker with falling skulls.
  • Spooky Mushroom Bar Goal Widget: a horizontal fill bar.
  • Spooky Halloween Cauldron Goal Widget: a liquid-filling cauldron.
  • Goth Spell Book Goal Widget: a page-turn goal tracker.
  • Love Skeleton Goal Widget: an animated sub and donation goal.

A goal bar counts events through StreamElements, such as tips, subs, cheers or follows. It does not show chat messages.

How the pieces fit on one layout

Put a chat widget on one side, a goal in a corner and your game in the middle. You can set the alignment and scale of each widget.

Example layout: Skull Ghost Chat lower left, Spooky Jar Goal at right, Mushroom Bar Goal along the bottom

Who it is for

It is built for streamers who want one matching October look without mixing sets. It suits Twitch streamers, VTubers and gamers, and the multistream chat is there if you stream on YouTube, Kick or TikTok too.

If you only want a single piece, a widget sold on its own is the simpler buy.

What you need

  • A free StreamElements account
  • OBS Studio or Streamlabs. Each one loads widgets as a browser source, the layer that shows a web page in your scene.
  • For YouTube chat on the multistream widget: a free YouTube Data API key
  • For Kick chat: your channel name and chatroom ID
  • For TikTok chat: the free TikFinity desktop app

Twitch works straight away. The PDF guide covers the platform setup for the multistream widget.

How it sets up

  1. In StreamElements, open Streaming Tools, then My Overlays, and add a Custom Widget.
  2. Click OPEN EDITOR. You will see five tabs: HTML, CSS, JS, FIELDS and DATA.
  3. Paste the matching file into each tab. Each tab has a .txt file with the same name.
  4. Save, then copy the overlay link from the top right of the overlay editor.
  5. In OBS, add a Browser Source, paste the link and set the size to 1920 x 1080.

Each widget takes about five minutes, so repeat the steps for every widget you want.

What you should see: the widget in your OBS scene, on a transparent background.

If it does not show up:

  • Black screen in OBS: turn off your VPN or ad blocker, then refresh the browser source.
  • Blurry widget: set your OBS canvas resolution to 1920x1080 and give the browser source the same size.
  • Missing YouTube, Kick or TikTok messages: connect each platform in the multistream widget as the PDF guide shows.

One limit to know

The Spooky Multistream Chat Widget is the only widget in the kit that reads YouTube, Kick and TikTok. It connects to each platform directly, which is why it needs the extra connections above. Every other widget runs on Twitch through StreamElements, and TikTok chat comes through the free TikFinity app, which connects to TikTok unofficially.

FAQ

Do I keep it after October?
Yes. The kit is available until 31 October 2026. Once you have bought it, it is yours for good: the deadline is on the offer, not on your access.

Does it work on YouTube or Kick?
Only the Spooky Multistream Chat Widget reads them. YouTube needs a free YouTube Data API key, Kick needs your channel name and chatroom ID, and TikTok needs the free TikFinity desktop app.

Do I need to know how to code?
No. You paste the included files, then change colours, fonts, sizes, goal targets and labels in the StreamElements editor.

Do the widgets work after Halloween?
Yes. The widgets work year-round. Only the artwork is seasonal.

Can I resell the files?
No. The kit is for personal use only, with no resale or redistribution.

Pairs well with

  • Spooky Jar Goal Widget for Twitch: a goal jar with real physics, sold on its own. It is a goal widget, so it does not show chat.
  • Multistream Chat Widget: one chat box for Twitch, YouTube, Kick and TikTok, installed with a one-click link. TikTok chat comes through the free TikFinity app.
